Chapter History

Bezaleel Wells founded Canton in 1805, and the Canton Chapter, NSDAR, was founded a little over 100 years later in 1908, by Elizabeth Clifford Neff. Another notable member was Mary Parthenia Marin who was the first public librarian in Canton and the third regent of our chapter.

I am Michelle, and I have been a member of the Canton Chapter, NSDAR, since December 2000. My husband, Keith, and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this past May, and we have three children. I love doing genealogy research.
