The Canton Chapter, NSDAR, and the Madison McKinley Daughters of 1812, with the Magnolia Historical Society will be honoring (Captain) James Downing, a Revolutionary War and War of 1812 Patriot. A DAR Historical Marker and 1812 Marker will be placed in front of the Isaac Miller Inn.
